Personal Development & Wellbeing
Introduction
New for 2025 the Personal Development and Wellbeing units merged into the appropriately named Personal Development & Wellbeing Unit!
Here is a brief outline of the new super unit:
Personal Development aims to build confidence by exploring opportunities, promoting positive risk taking and developing leadership skills.
Wellbeing explores wellbeing though connecting with nature; as well as encouraging creativity, exercise and healthy lifestyles.
Opportunities
Regular opportunities provided by Personal Development & Wellbeing include:
Community Connections; visiting places across Glasgow exploring the environment we live in.
Peer 2 Peer; a short course aiming to develop peer support skills.
Bike rides/lessons; during the less cold months, using your own bike, or lend one of our own mini-fleet.
Walks; sensory or otherwise, walks about the local area.
Art groups; every Friday afternoon, with mediums and themes changing with the seasons.
