What does your unit involve?

The kitchen and the cafe provide a wide range of experiences. We work together to develop healthy, budget friendly and best of all tasty meals.. It is a fast paced and energetic environment where there is a focus on building confidence, communication and organisational skills (as well as the music choice to keep us going!) 

As a member, how could I contribute to the catering unit?

Working in the cafe develops communication skills, and key literacy skills. Jobs include order taking, serving, operating the till and of course, overseeing the whole service is the maitre d’. The work in the cafe and kitchen can empower members on their recovery journey, what can appear a daunting and overwhelming area can become a fun learning environment.
