Gardening With Marmite
Foreword by Foreman
When asked to write their opinions on the garden renovation Marmite was, for once, stumped for words. The sanitised translation of their response was "I'm not sure what else there is to say that humans can't see for themselves in the documentary". So without further comment from Marmite themselves, here is The Yassification of the Flourish Garden, Ground Force, Serving cat the Marmite way.

There was a sense of achievement for me, I felt as if I was doing work for the community - I got a sense that I was contributing. I felt a bit like I was doing a part-time job in the garden, like I did in the past, but more satisfying than that.
I'd go home at night and feel like I'd done something, that's good for my well-being. It was something to get up in the morning for.

The garden, what a great project!
Ever since I've been in Flourish, I've always thought it would be great if the garden got more use - it has such great potential!
Finally we had the opportunity! We really wanted to make the garden a more functional space, people sitting in it relaxing, growing crops for the kitchen. It's great for people who maybe don't feel up to going to the allotment.
I look forward to sitting in the sun eating something with herbs grown in our garden!

I'm happy to see how the garden looks now, and proud of the role I played in assisting Marmite with the above documentary.
For my part in the garden I enjoyed helping with the initial destruction phase; clawing things with a crowbar, hitting things with a hammer - it was great to put my outside hobbies to practical use here in Flourish.
The short documentary is the favourite short that I've played apart in so far. I'm proud of the finished product, though there are things I would change were I given another chance in the editing room. Grateful to my co-conspirators Ej and Marmite; as well as for the opportunity and trust to be able to work on this project.
