Flourish House is based in the Woodlands area of Glasgow and accepts self-referrals and referrals from statutory/voluntary organizations for people who have experienced severe or enduring mental health problems.

Flourish House is a Company Limited by Guarantee and is also recognized by the Inland Revenue as a Charitable organization. Flourish House is managed by a Management Committee. The Management Committee is made up of individuals from different backgrounds, but who have an interest in mental health issues. Places are also reserved on the Management Committee for members who access the service at Flourish House.

In the summer of 2001, Flourish House also negotiated the purchase of their premises. Financial help towards the purchase was received from a number of Charitable organizations, the Greater Glasgow NHS Board and a loan from the Bank of Scotland.
