Being a Member of Flourish House
How do I become a member of Flourish House? Come along and visit us to find out a little more. Just give us a phone on 0141 333 0099 and arrange a visit at the following times:
- Tuesday 11.30 am and 2.00 pm
- Thursday 11.30 am and 2.00 pm
If you are interested in becoming a member you can complete an application form after your visit. |
|
I know someone who might benefit from joining Flourish House. What should I do? You can come with the person to visit Flourish and after this you can help them to fill in the application form. If you are a medical person (for example a CPN, psychiatrist, psychologist or GP) you can complete the full form with the prospective member: if not we will need to contact an appropriate medical person to complete the form. |
|
Why do I need to give you my doctor's address (or CPN's, psychologist or psychiatrist)? We are funded by the NHS to work with people with a mental health condition. We need to provide evidence of this and will write to your doctor with a simple form for them to complete. As a Clubhouse we don't work on diagnosis, so the only time your diagnosis will be looked at is when joining. We work on skills and abilities, not on illness. |
Ok I'm ready to join and I've already been to see Flourish. Can you send me a form? If you've been to see the house already you can download a form from here. |
I'm referring someone to Flourish House, can you send me a form? It would be best to visit Flourish first before doing the forms. If they've been already however you can download an application pack from here. |
|
When is Flourish House open? Monday - Thursday: 9 am - 5 pm Friday: 9 am - 4 pm
Lunch is served 12:30 - 1:15pm. |
|
Does being a member cost me anything? No - membership is free and it won't affect your benefits either. However, we are unable to provide travelling expenses.
We charge for lunch and refreshments. As a guide, a three-course meal will cost you three pounds. A cup of filter coffee is 30p and tea is 25p. |

Complaints and Procedures
How do I make a complaint about Flourish House? We hope that you won't have to make a complaint, but if you should have to then this policy document describes the procedure: what you should do and what you can expect from us in return. Complaints procedures encourage important feedback to the organisation and help to promote good practice, improve the service and inform planning for the future.
